Our film “Glimpses of Kerala” selected for the competition section at EMC VR Film Festival, Moscow.
EMC VR Film Festival is the First Russian Virtual Reality Film & Immersive Technology Festival, which was held from June 17 to June 19 2016 in Moscow, Russia.
Within 3 days of the festival 33 films in 3 major film programs (International Panorama, International Competition, Student VR Lab) were screened on 65 Gear VR’s simultaneously to over 1850 viewers (with free admission) thanks to initiators and major organisers of the festival EMC Russia&CIS as well as support of Samsung Mobile Russia (Samsung S7 Edge devices), Interactive Lab (VR Cinema system) and VRability project (Festival Program).
International Panorama brought huge interesst of the audience as works from Google Spotlight Stories, New York Times VR, ARTE 360, films by Lucy Walker and Gabo Arora, Fountainblue VR films as well as other works had their first premiere in Russia.
